One More Stroke

A push-your-luck forging game about crafting enchanted weapons, tempting fate... and knowing when to stop.

You have five days to outforge your rivals and prove your work belongs in a dragon's hoard.

Heat the forge. Raise your hammer. Start swinging.

Forge On and feed mana into an arcane circle, twisting raw steel into something stronger, stranger, and maybe even legendary.

Quench, and the stored-up magic becomes yours ...unless another smith quenches at the same time.

Spirits might answer the call. Powerful enchantments for your weapon.

Or you might attract something you really shouldn't have.

Push your luck too far, and an eldritch curse can turn your masterpiece into a smoking pile of scrap.

So... do you quench what you've got, or go for one more stroke?

Everyone chooses at once.

The other smiths aren't waiting politely for their turn.

Each round, everyone at the forge decides whether to Forge On or Quench what they've got. Stay in and you can build a much better weapon. Leave early and lock in your gains before the forge turns ugly.

The trouble is, you don't know what your rivals decided until everyone has committed.

If several smiths quench together, they split the mana, and everyone walks away with less.

Not every prize can be shared: only ONE smith can bind a Spirit to their weapon.

And if the same threat appears twice, unfinished weapons are ruined.

Sometimes the smart move is to get out early.

Five days. Five chances to make something ridiculous.

  • Forge a different weapon each day, including axes, swords, spears, scythes, maces, and more.
  • Contend with five different threats: decaying, deforming, breaking, melting, and blight.
  • Compete with rival smiths who each have their own tolerance for risk.
  • Snatch spirits, hoard mana, and build weapons loaded with strange enchantments.
  • Unlock new smiths and fill your journal with the finest weapons you've managed not to destroy.
  • Face the final reckoning, when the dragon inspects the week's work and picks a winner.

Be a little greedy.

You can play it safe.

You probably won't.

Make something legendary. Try not to get eaten.
